I AM are two of the most powerful words that we use in our vocabulary. This a vocabulary that experts say contains 20-35,000 words for the average English speaker. We may think on first glance that this is a bit of a big statement to make considering the amount of words we have at our disposal. However, if you stop and think about it, how powerful are thoughts such as “I am stupid, I am tired, I am sick of this, I am not good enough, I am scared, I am fat, I am useless” or even more powerfully when we vocalise these thoughts. These thoughts and words shape our reality as they give power to the negative thoughts that we hold about ourselves.
“I am not capable of doing this, I am not good enough” are thoughts and words that can prevent any one of us from reaching our full potential, from living the life of our dreams, a life of joy.
I thoroughly recommend each one of you reading this blog to sit with the thoughts that you have on a daily basis that start with I AM, and more importantly see how many times you speak the words I AM and notice what comes after these words.
If they are anything less than what you take to be your dream life, stop and questions them. Put them through the SEJ and see which of them are really true. Otherwise we can all live a life less than pure joy, based on frankly, a bunch of lies that we tell ourselves.
This is a short blog this time, but I think this is very apt as I AM is a short phrase that can hugely impact our happiness. “I AM limitless”, now wouldn’t this be a wonderful way to live your life.
Live in Joy!
